Pre-meeting = A meeting to get all the buy-ins before the actual meeting

Debrief = A meeting to figure out the real decisions after the actual meeting

Retro = A meeting to discuss past meetings

Kickoff = A meeting to plan for future meetings

Status update = A reoccurring meeting with the same people

Webinar = A sales pitch disguised as a meeting

All hands = A meeting with way too many people

Fireside =A meeting where you peer into an important person’s conversation

Lunch and learn = A meeting where you’re scarfing down food on mute

Team building = A meeting where fun is mandatory

Brainstorm = A pointless meeting

Working session = A meeting to get clarity from past brainstorms
