What I Learned

Each semester we take different courses kind of knowing what to expect, but also curious to find out what we will be discussing during the semester. One of the things I learned this semester was that, becoming a entrepreneur would be very difficult for myself in the future. I took an entrepreneur course in high school for a half of year, and it taught me the basics of what an entrepreneur does, but this course only took that to a new level.

One of the main things that I learned about the way an entrepreneur operates is the amount of sacrifice they do in the short-run for long-term gain. The most successful entrepreneur’s in today’s world all started with a plan and for months and years in the early stages of it, did not get national attention and the entrepreneur’s did not make a lot of income. In a lot of cases this could have been a side project for them.

Becoming a successful entrepreneur is one of the hardest things to do. It takes years of sacrifice, precision, mental toughness and trusting the process. You will have days and weeks where there might be little progress, but stick to it and the results will come.
