I’m sorry, Lady, sorry for all the death I cause.

I’m sorry my car still burns petrol

And my central heating is gas.

I can’t afford a heat pump or an electric car.

I’m sorry sorry sorry that I don’t know how to help you.

I can’t think how to get idiot politicians

To do anything sensible.

I write about it and everybody carries on as normal.

I worry about the oceans, wildlife, glaciers…

A complete waste of time — how does my worry help?

Worry is a kind of repetitious planning

That takes no action.

It depresses me, makes me sad,

Achieves nothing at all.

I don’t mind dying. I mind not having grandchildren.

I worry worry worry about the future

Full of morons politicking and lying

And doing nothing.
