Anticipation

Ever since the worldwide release of Avengers: Infinity War on April 27, 2018, I haven’t had the chance to go out and watch it.The suspense is killing me for I cannot sleep soundly at night, my eating habits are disturbed, even my time for hobbies are spent doing missed homework. Matched with social media posts regarding massive spoilers within the movie left me with the decision to stray from media and anything that has the ability to post pictures or message board for discussions. I get that it’s a highly anticipated movie, but it seems that people can’t find a way to shut up about who gets to die or live in the latest installment in the series. Hopefully, I’ll get to see the movie this weekend, but with such a tight schedule for the next couple of weeks, it’ll be a struggle to accomplish the goal. For now, preparation for finals is all I can hope to get around to since finals week will soon unleash its wrath on thousands of college students.

I absolutely love how engaged the community is over a movie series, partly because of the fact that it’s Marvel and not DC Comics (slight bias on my part). Their characters are much better when compared to Superman or Batman, while similar, there are definitely some traits that make it more memorable. Speaking of current news, I found out that two superheroes die out of the many; the two are Spiderman (favorite hero) and Black Panther (don’t really care about this). Since Spiderman is one of my favorite heroes, learning of his death made it seem like I lost a loved one. I don’t really know if I want to watch the movie at this point because I don’t want to be disappointed or mentally scarred for life. Best of luck to my final exams and emotions for the following weeks I suppose.
