The difference between the Heblex block and Leica

In the rest of this article, we intend to resolve this confusion in a way that suits you. Accordingly, we examine the difference between the Heblex block and Leica. This factor can in turn change your view of these two products; So if you want to know the differences between these two popular blocks, it is better to accompany us to the end of this article.

The most common type of block among Iranians is Leica blocks. These blocks are actually made from a combination of cement, water and grain. In these products, aggregates in their cement structure are generally removed. Making these products in hollow and solid designs has caused their diversity to grow a lot. Lightness and of course having porosity is the factor that makes these products suitable insulation against sound and heat. On the other hand, their reasonable prices have caused them to have a great influence in the Iranian construction industry.

Heblex blocks are a newer type of building blocks in the country. These blocks were first produced in Europe. To make these products, they combine different compounds such as aluminum powder, cement, lime, silica sand and water. Then they are poured into the mold. These ingredients eventually swell like a cake. The resulting mixture is then cut to the required dimensions and then processed using high steam pressure in an autoclave. In simpler terms, Heblex blocks are a type of porous block that has been porous by air flow.

The unique structure of these blocks makes them very light in weight. On the other hand, their unique compounds make them very suitable insulators against sound and heat transfer. The sum of these cases together has caused the influence of the Heblex block in the Iranian construction industry to increase day by day. However, many customers are still not well acquainted with the differences between these blocks and Leica blocks. This in turn causes them to make various mistakes when making decisions.

As mentioned, Leica blocks and Heblex blocks have completely different conditions for manufacturing. The difference in these conditions has caused their characteristics and, of course, their structure to be practically different. We have mentioned some of its differences at your service, dear ones.

High resistance may be considered as the first difference between the Heblex block and Leica. In fact, the strength of Heblex blocks is 25 to 35 kg per square centimeter, which can be increased according to customer needs and, of course, available facilities. This difference has made the structural resistance of this group of blocks against pressures and unwanted conditions much higher than Leica blocks.

Heblex blocks have high resistance to heat transfer due to their unique structure. This is the reason why this category of products practically insulates the building against various fires. This unique factor has enabled these blocks to meet the necessary standards for construction.

The construction process using Heblex blocks is much faster than Leica blocks. In fact, Heblex blocks have larger dimensions and the installation and use process is much easier. This has caused the execution speed in Heblex blocks to be up to 4 times faster than Leica block bricks. This factor, in turn, has actually reduced the time and material costs of building a building.

Insulation of Heblex blocks against temperature can be considered as another important component that has made these products a more ideal choice for users. In fact, Heblex blocks can be better insulated than Leica blocks due to their unique structural material. Accordingly, the buildings produced by them pay less for temperature adjustment in the hot and cold seasons of the year. This in turn reduces your cooling and heating costs.

Mechanical strength is another difference between the Heblex block and the Leica block. In fact, Leica blocks are quite brittle due to their structure. This is why a lot of waste or waste is created by them during construction. This factor in turn increases customers’ final costs. On the other hand, in the future, it will not be possible to install nails or other parts on the walls made of them. They are much more resistant to Heblex blocks due to their dense structure. This resistance actually reduces the final cost by manufacturing these products.

One of the most important differences between Heblex and Leica blocks is the reduction of dead tissue inside the building. In fact, walls made of Leica blocks cannot be whitewashed directly. Instead, a layer of plaster and soil must be applied on them and whitewash must be done on it. However, due to their dense structure, Heblex blocks do not need plaster and soil and can be whitewashed directly. This factor in turn reduces the dead tissue in the building and as a result reduces its overall weight.

Shrinkage coefficient is another difference between Heblex block and Leica. In fact, most concrete products lose their empty space over time due to pressure, which is called the shrinkage coefficient. Leica block has a much lower shrinkage coefficient. Heblex blocks, on the other hand, have a higher shrinkage coefficient than drying.

How mortar is applied can be considered as another unique feature that makes Heblex and Leica blocks different from each other. Leica block has the unique advantage of allowing the building to run the mortar vertically. But in Heblex block, it is not possible to create vertical mortar as standard. This is very important for Iranian architects and buildings because the usual construction process in Iranians is vertical.

Heblex block and Leica block can be considered as two popular types of blocks in the Iranian construction industry that are very popular among architects and buildings. However, these two light blocks are different from each other, which makes them practically different in price and how to work with them. This in turn has had a huge impact on demand for them. In this article, we tried to have an overview of the differences between the Heblex block and Leica and to explain its various aspects carefully to you dear ones.
